1. Information we handle
You can read stories and browse pages without creating an account. If you use an interactive feature, the current site may store information you enter on the device and browser you are using.
- Contact form: name, email address, enquiry category, message, and submission time.
- Course checkout demonstration: name, email, phone number, selected course, displayed price, and a generated reference number.
- Stories: the site may load published story content from a local JSON file. Search terms and category filters are handled in your browser.
- Technical requests: when your browser loads externally hosted fonts, scripts, or images, the relevant provider may receive technical request information such as your IP address and browser details.
Please do not include sensitive personal information or identifying details about a child in a message.
2. How information is used
Information entered into the current contact and course forms is used by the page to demonstrate the confirmation flow and retain a local record in your browser. The forms do not currently send those records to us, create a real course enrollment, or process a payment.
If these features are connected to live services in the future, we will update this policy to explain the actual purposes, recipients, and choices before relying on that functionality.
3. Browser storage and retention
The current demo uses browser local storage for contact messages and course checkout records. These records remain in that browser until they are cleared by you or removed by the browser. They are not automatically shared with other browsers or devices. Anyone with access to your device or browser profile may be able to view them.
You can remove local records by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. The site does not currently use an account-based retention or deletion system.
4. Third-party services
The site currently loads some resources from external providers, including Google Fonts, Cloudflare-hosted libraries, Tailwind’s CDN, and Unsplash-hosted images. Loading those resources can make a request to the provider. Their privacy practices and any storage they use are governed by their own policies. Social media icons link to external platforms; visiting those platforms is subject to their terms and privacy notices.
We do not currently see analytics or advertising scripts in the site code. This may change if the website is connected to new services, and this policy should then be updated.
5. Children’s information
WithTheMums shares parenting content for adults and is not designed as a service for children. Please avoid submitting a child’s full name, contact details, precise location, medical records, or other identifying information through a form or story.
6. Your choices and requests
You can choose not to use interactive forms, and you can clear the local information stored by this demo in your browser settings. For questions about this policy or a privacy request, email editorial@wethemums.com. Please include enough detail for us to understand your request, but do not send sensitive information unnecessarily.
7. Updates to this policy
We may revise this page when the website or its data practices change. The date at the top shows when this page was most recently updated.
